CESCA

The Cesca chair (/ˈtʃɛskə/) originated in 1928, conceived by the Hungarian-American architect and designer Marcel Breuer. This iconic design comprises a framework of tubular steel paired with a rattan seat and backrest. Its nomenclature, 'Cesca,' pays homage to Breuer's beloved adopted daughter, Francesca, affectionately known by the nickname Cesca.
